Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: East Africa to Samoa, north to Yaeyama Islands and south to Fiji.

Size: 6 inches (15 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits silty bottoms near overhanging corals in lagoons and on seaward reefs and usually found at depths between 10– 100 feet (3 – 30 m) where it feeds by sifting the sediment and consuming benthic invertebrate.

General Husbandry: Not yet collected for the trade.
