Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea and Gulf of Aqaba, east to Taiwan and Japan, south to New Caledonia, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, and the Great Barrier Reef.

Size: 1 inch (2 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits coastal dead algae covered reefs and usually found at depths between 3– 100 feet (1 – 30 m) where it feeds upon benthic invertebrate/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
