Range: Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea to Persian Gulf.

Size: 1 inch (2 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits coastal coral reefs and rubble bottom areas and usually found at depths between 6– 50 feet (2 – 15 m) where it feeds upon benthic invertebrate/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
