Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Java to Papua New Guinea, north to Philippines, Palau and Yaeyama Islands, Japan.

Size: 2 inches (4 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits coastal protected reef areas and found near corals and usually seen at depths between 3 – 50 feet (1 – 15 m) where it feeds upon benthic invertebrate/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
