Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea east to Southern Japan, and south to the Great Barrier Reef.

Size: 2 inches (5 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits course gravel bottom areas near reefs and lives with Alpheid/pistol shrimp and usually found at depths between 3 – 50 feet (1 – 15 m) where it feeds upon benthic invertebrate.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
