Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Southern Florida and the Bahamas to Lesser Antilles.

Size: 3 inches (6 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits deep reef areas, and usually found at depths between 6 – 100 feet (2 – 30 m) where it feeds upon benthic invertebrate.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
