Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: East Africa to Society Islands, north to Southern Japan, south to Queensland, and Marshall Islands.

Size: 3 inches (7 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits caves and crevices and usually found at depths between 3 – 100 feet (1 – 30 m) where it lives in small burrows and feeds upon zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
