Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: India to Fiji, north to Southern Japan, south to New South Wales, and eastern Caroline and Marshall Islands.

Size: 3 inches (7 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits tidepools and lagoons and usually found at depths between 3 - 65 feet (1 - 20 m) where it lives in small burrows and feeds upon zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
