Range: Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea and Mozambique to Persian Gulf.

Size: 3 inches (7 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits protected reefs and rubble areas and usually found at depths between 6 -50 feet (2 - 15 m) where it lives in small burrows and feeds upon zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
