Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Maldives to New Caledonia, north to Southern Japan, and south to Tonga.

Size: 2 inches (5 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy and muddy bottoms in coral rubble lagoon reefs and usually found at depths between 3 –100 feet (1 – 30 m) where it feeds upon tiny invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
