Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Gulf of Thailand, the Philippines, and Bali, Indonesia.

Size: 5 inches (13 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy and rubble areas on outer reef sandy slopes and usually found at depths between 15 –130 feet (5 – 40 m) where it feeds on benthic invertebrates and zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
